Is it safe? Does it have chemicals?
Yes, Le Creuset metal bakeware is made of heavy gauge carbon steel, covered with two layers of PFOA-free nonstick coating for outstanding food release.
What temperature can this be used at?
Please ensure you never exceed 450°F. Overheating could result in damage to the non-stick surface (e.g. discolouration, blistering), discolouration/degradation of the silicone trim and in extreme cases warping of the metal body.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The superb release qualities of our non-stick coating means that food glides out effortlessly and without residue so the tins only need hand washing. Dishwasher detergents are very aggressive and could damage the surface and adversely affect release, it could also lead to rust.
