The EXPEDITOR 1100, with a 1 gallon/4 liter polycarbonate container and powerful 3.5 horsepower motor, is the largest and most powerful in the EXPEDITOR family of culinary blenders. Also available with a stainless steel container (HBF1100S), many chefs elect to get both containers for added volume and versatility. The EXPEDITOR 1100 is designed specifically for chefs around the world who need a powerful and reliable machine to chop, blend or purée in large volumes.Since the motor sits behind the container, not below it, the 17.6 inch height makes it easier to move around the kitchen and store underneath the counter. Because of its power, the jar has a magnetic sensor that will prevent blending unless the lid is secure, and an indicator light notifies the operator when the jar and lid are not aligned. A temperature gauge alerts the operator if motor overheats while blending back-to-back batches.
