The chop function is a unique feature that offers the ultimate control over blend texture and consistency. To use it, press chop and turn the variable speed dial to your preferred speed. For added convenience, the 600 offers one-touch buttons to stop, blend on high, or pulse. Ordinary blenders spin contents around the walls of the jar, which can leave whole chunks of food untouched by the blades. In addition, the one-piece stainless steel blade has 4 sharpened cutting surfaces for perfect processing of hot and cold ingredients.
The unit is designed with an all-metal drive clutch with a jar pad sensor that turns the motor off when the container is not in place to help prevent clutch grinding and extend the life of your jars.
