Creamy Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup pasta water (reserved)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.

  4. Add the cooked pasta, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.

  5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Grilled chicken or shrimp for added protein.
  • Spinach, mushrooms, or roasted broccoli for extra veggies.
  • A pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
