Ingredients

  • 4–5 ripe heirloom or vine tomatoes, sliced or chopped
  • 2 balls of fresh burrata cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

1. Marinate the Tomatoes
In a bowl, toss sliced tomatoes with olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, salt, pepper, and herbs. Let them sit at room temperature for at least 15–20 minutes to absorb all the flavor.

2. Plate the Salad
Arrange the marinated tomatoes on a serving platter. Gently tear or place whole burrata balls over the tomatoes.

3. Add the Glaze
Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the salad. Top with more cracked pepper and basil if desired.
